Just with the EU-Relase, the SpieleEntwicklungsKombinat (SEK) published the mapeditor for ParaWorld, giving you the possibility to create custom maps for your favourite game. The developers hereby provide you with the one tool that has been used for creating official maps and missions for ParaWorld, but since they included a elaborate documentation, even beginners should be able to start creating own maps and testing their skills as map creators.
If you should come across problems or should have any questions, the detailed documentation should come in handy - except triggers and the sequence editor, every feature of the map editor is explained. Those two missing parts are mainly important for singleplayer-missions, but documentation for them will of course follow aswell. Until then, experienced mapdesigners can try them and check out their potency.
Our MySkulls.com Forum offers you
a platform to exchange ideas, post questions or develop projects together - and you can even publish your work once it has reached a certain state.
The SEK and the MySkulls.com are eagerly awaiting your exclusive and innovate maps. Good luck!
Update (23.09. 15:00):
SEK just informed us about an error in the current installer of the mapeditor, rendering it unable to re-load created maps into the editor. They are working hard to provide a fix and create an updated installer. It will be available here once finished. Stay tuned.
Patch (23.09. 15:15):
SEK's high quality support for ParaWorld goes on: an updated version of the ParaWorld SDK 1, which fixes the mentioned bug, has been released and is available for
download.
